Dish Dual tuner dvr changing channels on it's own.?
It started happening last week and usually in evenings.I don't know if it's a neighbor with the same setup that is changing it or what.Is there anything i can do to change a setting?
the best thing to do if your neighbor has dish is to change your remote addresses. the way you do that is simple.
1 press the menu button 2x's
system info page appears
2 on the remote hold the SAT button until all lights light up on top of remote.
3 press in a number 1 - 14 in two digit format. (02, 12) try not to pick the number that appears for that remote on the screen.
4 press # button, light should blink showing number was saved.
5 press the record button on the remote. you should see the number on the screen under that remote change to what you programed the remote to.
6 press done and test the remote to make sure it is functioning.
